Our Safeguarding Ambassadors programme give pupils an opportunity to drive safeguarding within their setting. Our unique offer gives pupils the confidence and skills to be effective pupil safeguarding leaders.

  • Explore the role of a Safeguarding Ambassador;
  • Understand safeguarding procedures;
  • Understand what safeguarding and mental wellbeing means and the issues that face young people;
  • Set goals and objectives in relation to what the Safeguarding Ambassadors aim to achieve;
  • Understand how to communicate and listen effectively as a Safeguarding Ambassador;
  • Create a pupil friendly safeguarding policy, anti-bullying policies etc for the school;
  • Trained as peer mentors for younger pupils;
  • Be able to input into whole school safeguarding development plan.

The programme is broken down over the academic year:

  • Initial two hour training session with learners log;
  • Termly meeting;
  • End of programme review and celebration.

Our training courses can be delivered as a bespoke option which is contextually for your setting. This includes references to local legislation, organisation policies and International best practice.
