Our positive handling training provides staff with risk mitigation, positive intervention strategies, self-protection and disengagement options when dealing with challenging behaviour from children and young people. The course examines the use of physical interventions and reasonable force and managing the risks associated with the physical restraint of children and young people.
Delegates who have not previously completed a positive handling course may wish to undertake this training. Equally, this course will support those who have previously undertaken positive handling training and who wish to update their knowledge, skills and continued professional development.
