It’s impossible to get safeguarding 100% watertight. The issues and the risks are developing all the time. However, at The Safeguarding Alliance we have found that rewarding and celebrating best practice helps to raise the bar and inspires other organisations to follow the lead. The selection process is rigorous, but the rewards for organisations and society as a whole make it worthwhile. An organisation is awarded based on the evidence provided at the time of application. If the organisation does not meet the award criteria a full refund will be issued.
